Beautiful setting. A trainer-led walk through a quiet natural space focused on loose-leash skills, calm engagement, and confidence around wildlife and everyday outdoor distractions. This class is designed to set dogs up for success in nature-based environments with enough space and structure to practice without overwhelm. An ideal first real-world outing for dogs ready to take their skills outside the facility.

Dogs Who Roam —Puppy & General Adult Weekend/Evening Adventures

All classes are held outside. These classes count toward the Dogs Who Roam profile badge. Puppy classes are open to puppies who have completed their primary vaccine series. The world is big. Let's make it wonderful. A trainer-led park outing designed specifically for young dogs experiencing the world during their critical socialization window. We introduce new smells, surfaces, sounds, and sights at a confidence-building pace that is structured and supportive, not a free-for-all. Handlers learn how to read their puppy's body language, create positive associations with new experiences, and set the foundation for a dog who moves through the world with curiosity rather than fear.

Off Leash Lab: Summer Session

Saturday , June 27th | 3:00 pm | Park 1 — Pawsitively Wild 'N' Free, near Indus, AB/General Adult Dogs

Saturday , June 27th | 4:00 pm | Park 1 — Pawsitively Wild 'N' Free, near Indus, AB/Puppy's

Summer training, but make it fun. We're taking our Off-Leash Skills Lab outside the facility and into one of Calgary's best private dog parks for an afternoon of real-world off-leash work with a summer twist.

We'll be in Park 1 — a fully fenced, private park, open space to run, and a 200 x 50-foot swimming hole your dog is welcome to make full use of. The setting does a lot of the training for us: new smells, open space, water, and the kind of distractions that reveal exactly where your dog's skills are at — and where we can build from here.

The focus is on reliable recall, reading your dog's body language in a group setting, off-leash engagement, and self-regulation when excitement is high. Skills that actually matter when your dog has room to run.

Spots are limited, reserve yours today!
