Puppy Love
Also known as a crush, puppy love is an informal term for feelings of love, often felt during childhood and early adolescence. It is an infatuation usually developed by someone's looks at first sight. Whereas the feeling of real love takes time to develop, puppy love is named for its resemblance to the adoring, worshipful affection that may be felt by a puppy.
We get it; puppies are adorable but that sweet little pup can quickly feel like a terror in the family. And adolescence can bring on a range new challenges. Our Puppy Love Day is meant to help you ensure your puppy gets started off on the right paw and develops into a confident, well-mannered family member that you can take anywhere.
Join us May 5th at 10 - 4 pm at our Chinook location (515 - 70 Avenue SW) for this unique and fun puppy event!

Life Skills for Success
Take part in a range of interactive sessions that go beyond basic obedience skills to prepare your puppy for life in our busy, urban world.
Unique Activities
Make take-home enrichment items for your puppy, plus participate in fun games that provide unique socialization and mental exercise opportunities for your puppy.

We've got downloadable handouts, an e-Book, training videos, webinars, and more to help you with your puppy. Plus a grab bag full of goodies for you and your pup!
Puppy Love Details
This is a fun-filled day you can enjoy with your puppy. We will have a nursery set up that is supervised by trainers to provide your puppy with much-needed quiet time throughout the day.
Schedule:
- Sunday, May 5th at 10 am - 4 pm
- 10:00 - 10:30: Welcome and Building Focus
- 10:30 - 10:45: Playtime with Toys
- 10:45 - 11:15: Handling/Cooperative Care
- 11:15 - 12:00: Outside Adventure
- 12:00 - 1:00: Lunch and Table Manners (bring your own lunch)
- 1:00 - 2:00: Enrichment Hour
- 2:00 - 2:30: Essential Skills
- 2:30 - 4:00: Crockadoodle Canmore Paw Tiles
Requirements:
- Puppies up to the age of 6 months
- First round of vaccinations
- Pre-payment and registration required
What You'll Need:
- A harness/collar and 4-6' leash (no martingales, choke, or prong collars, and no flexi or chain leashes).
- A variety of treats broken up into small pieces
- A bait bag or something to hold your treats out of your hands
- Their bed
- Some of their favourite toys
- Their crate (optional as we have many at facility)
- Lunch (we have a fridge and microwave for your use)
Fine Print:
- Please be advised that cancellations made up to 1 week before the event will be processed without a penalty.
- Cancellations made 72 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a charge of 50% of the registration fee.
- Cancellations made under 72 hours will not receive a refund.
