dogma is excited to launch our new flexible levels program which focuses on a building block approach to training!
Many training schools offer 6 week classes for around $200. These rigid schedules can be hard for busy families to accommodate. Missing a lesson or two can make your dog fall behind and affect the quality of your training. Or, it can delay your training as you need to wait for the next available start date.
Other schools offer classes where you can attend multiple times a week at a much higher rate, but these only run for a couple a months and majority start outdoors which can be frustrating for both yourself and your dog.
dogma has solved those problems by developing a flexible levels program. With a levels membership, you can come to our drop-in classes as often as you like for as long as you need. Get as much or as little training as you want or need based on your own expectations for your dog.
Each new student must attend our Orientation night and then you are free to move through all four levels or choose to stay at a lower level. The choice is yours! You will need to demonstrate that your dog understands certain skills to move onto the next level.
This unique format allows you to work at your own skill level for as long as necessary with a group of dogs that will always be in the same stage of training. Another benefit is that you can revisit a lower level at any time. The higher you move, the more flexibility and class options you will have!
To continue our mission to support local animal rescue groups through sharing of knowledge, we offer special no-cost training programs through our facility. To find out more, have your organization contact Megan Armstrong at megan@dogmatraining.com for more details!

but you must attend one of the next two orientation
nights after purchasing your membership. If not,
your membership will begin automatically on the
second orientation night after you have registered.

These classes are also held indoors to ensure your dog is gaining the foundation skills required in a proper training format. Read our blog post on distraction training for dogs and why it is so important! A large focus for this level is also on manners and self control training.

When: First and third Monday of every month at 8:30 pm
**Starting January 16th** |
Confidence Building/Facing Fear Drop-in
Does your dog get nervous in new situations? Are they shy with new people or dogs? This class will teach you the skills you need to help your dog develop confidence and to feel secure in new situations. Many dogs feel unsure in new and busy environments, so we have built this into the membership! Come into class at anytime or start here if your dog needs sometime to become more confident!
When: Thursdays at 6:30 pm starting in February.
**Starting February 9th** |
Loose Leash Walking Drop-in
A full hour to come in and practice just your dog's loose leash walking skills! We work on this in the regular level classes, but many owners face a great deal of challenges with this skill, so we have made it its own class!
When: Third Monday of every month at 8:30 pm
**Starting January 23rd** |
Q&A Hour for Common Behaviour Problems
This hour is included in any membership and allows you a full hour to ask one of our certified trainers any of your questions! This hour is meant to help you work through any challenges you may be having such as house training, chewing, mouthing, or anything else! If you are having any concerns with aggression or reactivity, please check out our Q&A nights for those concerns here.
When: Fourth Monday every month at 8:30 pm
**Starting January 30th** |
